It is a testament to your maturity, personal responsibility, and readiness to do what is necessary in order to live your life better. It takes courage.
There are many different reasons why people seek counseling. What seems to be universal, though, is the experience of “feeling stuck”. The issues might be anxiety, depression, procrastination, grief or a conflicted relationship, to mention a few, but an issue is unique to every person. Issues cannot be compared and emotional pain cannot be measured. It is always significant, whatever the symptoms may be, because the results can be devastating when issues are left unresolved. So, if you are struggling -talk about it now. With the right counseling you have the opportunity to turn things around, become empowered and gain more authenticity, joy and development in your life.
